A.J. Dolan Bouchard is an attorney, law professor, and proud Indio resident. She has spent her career defending constitutional rights, educating the next generation of legal professionals, and raising her family in the community she loves. Now she's ready to bring that same dedication to Indio City Council.
From Orange County to the Coachella Valley
In 2005, she and her family relocated to the Coachella Valley — and she has called this community home ever since. While in college, A.J. attended the College of the Desert Public Safety Academy and was awarded a Level III P.O.S.T. (Peace Officer Standards and Training) certification.
Education & Legal Career
A.J. graduated from California State University San Bernardino with a degree in Criminal Justice, attending classes at the Palm Desert Campus. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate and was sworn in as an Attorney with the State Bar of California in 2012. Her practice, Dolan Law Offices, is located in Indio and focuses on serious and violent felonies — including capital case defense and representation of victims as Marsy's Counsel. She is a trusted and respected member of the criminal justice system.
Professor & Administrator
In 2014, A.J. was invited to join the faculty at the California Desert Trial Academy College of Law, where she has served as a Professor in Real Property Law, Constitutional Law, and Contract Law. She was later asked to take on an administrative role at CDTA College of Law — a testament to the trust and respect she has earned in the legal education community.
Family & Community
While A.J. finds great fulfillment in her career, her true joy comes from her family. She is a proud wife and mother of twin boys. A.J. and her husband have chosen to raise their family in the City of Indio because they believe in creating a safe, healthy, and thriving community for all to enjoy. That commitment to Indio's future is what drives her campaign.
